What is needed to record a video?
Stability of camera, microphone, and lights are all key to video quality. You may be
able to achieve a good angle by propping these pieces of equipment on stable surfaces
where you are recording. But if not, tripods will let you position your equipment just
where you need it.

HOW TO PRESENT A VIDEO LESSON
1) Draw up a lesson plan.

3) Make a PDF lesson to present to students.
4) Use props to make the class interesting and keep the student’s attention.
5) Be friendly and present the class as a teacher. Do not simply read the PDF.
6) Give students homework at the end of the lesson.
7) When the video starts, be sure to greet friendly and use your name as Ms. X or Mr. Y.
and the school’s name, for example: Hello and welcome. I’m Ms. X from Monties

8) After greetings take 5 minutes to go through the previous lesson’s homework.
9) At the end of the video please mention that a revision session with a live tutor is available on our official website.
10) Wait a few seconds before switching off the video. These few seconds can be used to
edit the video so students do not see how you switch off the video etc.
